After the Evaly era, Bangladeshi shoppers had every reason to distrust online stores — fake chargers, cloned earbuds, mislabelled power banks, and sellers who vanished after taking an advance payment. Midmart was started to be the opposite of that: a place where you can see who you are buying from before you part with a taka.

Founded by Kowsar Hossen in Cumilla, it is now a marketplace of independent shops. Each one is checked against national ID and business documents before it can list anything, publishes its own return terms, ships with its own courier and is paid by you directly — usually in cash, at your door, after you have seen the parcel.
