Shipping & Delivery

Midmart does not deliver

Midmart is a marketplace. It does not hold stock, book couriers or carry parcels. Each shop packs and ships its own orders with the courier or rider it chooses, anywhere in Bangladesh that the shop serves.

Delivery is charged per shop

Every shop sets its own delivery charge. When you order from more than one shop, each shop's group of items is a separate order with its own delivery charge and its own parcel. Three shops in your cart means three delivery charges, and the parcels may arrive on different days. Midmart does not pool delivery across shops. The charge is shown at checkout before you confirm.

How the charge is worked out

Bangladesh's 64 districts fall into three delivery zones: Inside Dhaka, Outside Dhaka City, and Suburban & Rural. Each shop sets a price for each zone. The district you choose at checkout decides the zone, and that shop's price for it is what you pay. Some shops offer free delivery above a certain order value, and each shop shows an estimated delivery time.

Paying for delivery

You pay the delivery charge to the shop, together with the items, in the way the shop accepts (usually cash on delivery). Midmart does not collect delivery charges.

Tracking and delays

Midmart does not track your parcel. Ask the shop for the courier name and tracking number in your order message thread. If an order is late, message the shop first. If it still does not arrive, see Buyer Protection.

On delivery

Check the parcel before you pay on a cash-on-delivery order. If it is damaged or wrong, refuse it and tell the shop. See Returns & Refunds.

Delivery inside Bangladesh only

Midmart shops deliver within Bangladesh. International delivery is not offered through Midmart.
