How Midmart works

Midmart is a marketplace where independent Bangladeshi shops list their products. You order on Midmart, but you pay the shop directly — usually cash on delivery — and the shop delivers with its own courier. Midmart reviews every shop before it goes live and keeps a record of every order, but never holds your money or books couriers.

Buying on Midmart

  1. Step 1

    Find a shop you trust

Browse verified sellers and check their rating, reviews and order history. All of it is public, and none of it can be bought.

  2. Step 2

    Order without paying

Placing an order costs you nothing online. The shop confirms it, packs it and ships it to your address with its own courier.

  3. Step 3

    Pay when it arrives

Check the parcel at your door, then pay the delivery person in cash. The shop collects the money directly — Midmart never holds it.

Selling on Midmart

  1. Step 1

    Open a free shop

Register with your national ID and business documents. Verification usually completes within two working days.

  2. Step 2

    List and sell

Add your products, set your delivery charge for each zone, and receive orders in your seller panel.

  3. Step 3

    Keep all of it

Ship with your courier and collect payment your way. Midmart takes no commission on any sale, in any category.

What Midmart does

  • Verify every seller against national ID and business documents
  • Keep a permanent record of every order placed
  • Host reviews from delivered orders only
  • Review every report and remove sellers who break their promises
  • Show each shop's full track record, including a short one

What Midmart does not do

  • Handle your money — you pay the shop directly
  • Deliver parcels — each shop ships with its own courier
  • Take a cut of any sale
  • Guarantee refunds — check the shop's own policy before ordering
  • Guarantee any payment — advance payments are between you and the shop

Common questions

Why doesn't Midmart take my payment online?

Because Midmart never handles money between you and a shop. You pay the shop directly — usually cash on delivery, so you see the product before any money changes hands and the seller is paid immediately rather than weeks later. A shop may ask for an advance instead; that is its decision, and the risk is yours to weigh.

What happens if my order never arrives?

If you chose cash on delivery, you have lost nothing, because you have not paid. Report the shop from your order page; repeated failures get a shop suspended and delisted. If you paid the shop in advance, Midmart cannot recover that money, because it never received it.

What if the product is not what I expected?

Check it before you pay the delivery person — that is your strongest protection, and you can refuse the parcel at no cost. After payment, exchanges follow the selling shop's own policy, which is shown on its page and on every product it lists.

Is it safe to pay a shop with bKash?

Only pay a shop you have checked, and send money to the number shown inside your Midmart order page — never a number sent to you in a message or a comment. Keep the transaction ID and a screenshot. Midmart does not hold or guarantee these payments and is not responsible for payment issues between you and a shop.

Why is delivery charged separately for each shop?

Each shop ships your order itself, with its own courier. Two shops means two parcels travelling separately, so it means two delivery charges. Items from the same shop ship together for one charge.

Does Midmart take a commission from sellers?

No. Selling on Midmart is free — no commission, no listing fee, no cut of delivery. Sellers keep the full amount they collect from you.
