Started in Cumilla, Bangladesh

An honest marketplace for a cautious market.

Midmart began with a single question — why is it so hard to buy from a seller you can actually trust in Bangladesh? The answer was not another store. It was a place where every seller is checked before it can sell, where you pay the shop directly and never through us, and where the shop you order from is named on the page.

The promises we build the store on

What we stand for

  1. Every seller is checked first

A shop cannot list anything until its owner's national ID and business documents have been reviewed. Verified is a KYC status — it is never sold and never granted for a fee.

  2. You pay the shop directly

Placing an order costs nothing online, and payment goes straight to the shop, usually cash on delivery. If a shop asks for an advance, check it first — Midmart never holds the money and is not responsible for payments.

  3. Check before you pay

With cash on delivery you can inspect the parcel at your door and refuse it at no cost. You pay the shop, or its rider, directly — Midmart never holds the money.

  4. Delivery is the shop's, and it is charged per shop

Each shop ships with its own courier. Two shops means two parcels travelling separately, so it means two delivery charges — shown before you order, never added afterwards.

  5. Free to sell, and said so plainly

No commission, no listing fee, no cut of delivery. Every order stays on the record, and every report is read by a moderator rather than passed to the seller.

Put a trustworthy seller within reach of every Bangladeshi.

Why we exist

Nobody should have to guess who they are paying. On Midmart an order costs nothing to place, you pay the shop directly — usually once the parcel is in front of you — and the shop you are paying is named on the page.

We check every seller against national ID and business documents, keep a permanent record of every order, and publish each shop's full track record — including a short one. What we do not do is take the money, book the courier, or take a cut. That stays with the shop, and so does the responsibility.

Four pillars, every decision.

What guides us

Checked before they sell

Every shop passes national ID and business-document review before its first listing goes live. A shop that breaks its promises is suspended, then delisted.

Honest pricing

No invented "before" prices and no hidden platform fees. Delivery is charged per shop and shown before you order, because each shop ships its own parcel.

The shop's policy, in writing

Returns and exchanges are set and honoured by the shop you bought from, published on its page. Midmart records the order but does not refund on its behalf.

Free to sell, and said so plainly

No commission, no listing fee, no cut of delivery. A seller keeps every taka collected. If that ever changes, it will be said in advance, not discovered.
