Be clear about what this is
Midmart is a marketplace, not the seller, and it does not hold your money or deliver your parcel. There is no escrow and no money-back guarantee from Midmart. You pay the shop directly and the shop delivers. What Midmart does is make it harder for bad shops to trade, and easier for you to complain.
What Midmart does
- Reviews shops before they sell. A new shop must be approved before it can list or receive orders.
- Reviews listings. New listings are checked and can be held or removed. See Prohibited Items.
- Shows a verified badge when a shop's identity documents have been checked. The badge is not a guarantee of any order.
- Keeps the record. Your order, the delivery charge, the payment arrangement and your messages with the shop are saved on Midmart.
- Works reports. You can report a product, a shop or a review. Midmart reviews each report and can hide listings, remove reviews or suspend shops.
What you can do
- Read the shop's delivery and return policy before you order.
- Prefer cash on delivery and open the parcel at the door before paying.
- If you must pay in advance, pay only to the number or account shown on the shop's checkout, keep the transaction ID and screenshots, and be careful with a new shop or an unusually low price.
- Keep your conversation with the shop on Midmart, in the order messages.
- Be wary of anyone who asks you to pay or chat outside Midmart, or asks for a code sent to your phone.

If something goes wrong
- Message the shop from your order page, with photos.
- If the shop does not answer or does not fix it, report the shop or the order, or email [email protected] with your order number.
- Midmart will look at the order record and the messages, may contact both sides, and can act against the shop. It cannot force a refund or return money it never held.
- You can also complain to the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection or use other legal remedies in Bangladesh.
