Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses midmart.com.bd ("Midmart"), whether you browse, buy or sell. By using Midmart you agree to them. If you open a shop you also agree to the Seller Agreement.

What Midmart is

Midmart is an online marketplace that introduces buyers to independent shops in Bangladesh. Shops list their own products, set their own prices and delivery charges, and fulfil their own orders. Every sale is a contract between the buyer and the shop. Midmart is not the seller and does not own, stock, inspect or ship the products listed.

Payment and delivery

  • Midmart does not collect, hold or refund order payments. The buyer pays the shop directly, in a way that shop accepts: usually cash on delivery, or the shop's own bKash, Nagad or bank account.
  • Midmart does not deliver. Each shop arranges its own delivery and sets its own delivery charge. An order from three shops carries three delivery charges.
  • All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). Midmart serves buyers and sellers in Bangladesh only.

See Shipping & Delivery and Buyer Protection.

Returns, refunds and warranty

Returns, refunds and any warranty are the selling shop's responsibility, under the policy published on its shop page. See Returns & Refunds. Midmart does not hold the money and so cannot refund it, but it reviews reports and can hide listings or suspend shops that break these terms.

Buyers

  • Give accurate name, phone number and delivery address. The shop receives them so it can deliver; see the Privacy Policy.
  • Check the shop's delivery and return policy before you order, and inspect cash-on-delivery parcels at the door.
  • Do not place orders you do not intend to accept, and do not misuse reviews, messages or reports.

Sellers

Opening and running a shop on Midmart is free: there is no setup fee, listing fee, subscription or commission on sales. Sellers must list only what they can supply, describe it honestly, honour the prices and policies they publish, deal fairly with buyers and follow the Prohibited Items list. Advertising is the only paid product; see Advertising Terms.

What Midmart may do

Midmart reviews shops and listings. It may hold, hide or remove a listing, restrict or suspend a shop or account, and remove reviews or messages that break these terms or the law. A verified badge means a shop's identity documents were checked; it is not a guarantee of any sale.

Accounts

Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

Liability

Because the sale, payment and delivery are between buyer and shop, Midmart is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or delivery of items, or for money paid to a shop. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the laws of Bangladesh that cannot be limited by agreement.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Continuing to use Midmart after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
